Terms and conditions of sale
A summary of the terms that apply to any booking made on barquesaintleuamiens.fr. The full official version, signed by each customer when booking, can be read in the booking process (payment step). This English translation is provided for convenience: the French version is the only legally binding one.

1. Purpose
These terms govern the sale, by Jules Guillemoto / Ecologik (SIRET 898 615 893 00028), of guided outings in Amiens offered by Ecologik — a boat tour in the heart of the Hortillonnages (departure from Île au Fagot), walking tours of Saint-Leu and a combined boat + walk format — to any individual or legal entity making a booking on the barquesaintleuamiens.fr website.
2. Booking and confirmation
The booking is firm once Stripe confirms the payment. A confirmation e-mail is sent automatically with a summary, the meeting point and directions. If you have not received it within 2 hours, contact [email protected].
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included, at the time of booking; the prices in force on the day of booking apply. Babies under 3 (carried in arms) and dogs (declared, on a lead on a shared boat) are free. The whole boat can be booked for a group, whatever its size and within the limit of 10 places, babies carried in arms not included; the matching flat rate is shown before payment, and the total of a shared booking can never exceed it.
Payment is made in full online by bank card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through Stripe. The card is charged at the time of booking. Your bank details are processed by Stripe; Ecologik does not store your card number.
4. Capacity and participants
The boat takes a maximum of 10 paying places. Babies under 3 do not count towards this capacity (they are carried in a parent’s arms). Dogs, which are free, do not count towards the capacity either.
The customer guarantees having declared the exact number of adults, children, babies and dogs. Any extra person not declared may be refused at boarding, with no refund.
5. Cancellation, rescheduling, weather
The booking is for a leisure activity on a set date; it cannot be cancelled automatically from the website. No automatic refund is triggered by the customer. If you are prevented from coming, contact Jules as early as possible: depending on the notice given, how full the departure is and the situation, a new date or a goodwill gesture may be considered, with no automatic guarantee.
Cancellation by Ecologik for safety reasons (storm, strong wind, water level, official alert): Jules contacts you directly and first offers a new date; if no new date suits you, you are refunded in full.
Moderate rain: the tour goes ahead. The guide alone judges safety.
6. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services provided on a set date or at a set frequency. The cancellation terms of article 5 apply instead.
7. Safety and liability
Life jackets are provided for all passengers, children included. Wearing the life jacket is compulsory on board. Minors are under the responsibility of the adult accompanying them. Dogs remain under the responsibility of their owner.
Ecologik holds professional liability insurance suited to the activity. Ecologik cannot be held liable for damage resulting from a failure to follow the safety instructions given by the guide.
8. Food, drinks and products of the establishments
Food, meals, drinks or products offered by local establishments (recommended good addresses) are chosen and paid directly to the establishment. Ecologik resells no food product and no alcoholic drink.
9. Personal data
Personal data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy and the GDPR.
10. Customer service, complaints and mediation
Any complaint can be sent to [email protected]. In accordance with Articles L. 612-1 and following of the French Consumer Code, after a prior written complaint to Ecologik that has not received a satisfactory answer within 60 days, the customer may use, free of charge, the consumer mediator Ecologik belongs to: MTV Médiation Tourisme Voyage, BP 80 303, 75823 Paris Cedex 17 — online referral on www.mtv.travel.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the French courts, subject to the mandatory rules that protect consumers.
