Who is Jules?
Jules Guillemoto is the founder of Ecologik, an Amiens company devoted to environmental education. A naturalist guide with a master’s degree in ecology, his path combines nature activities, teaching, fieldwork and navigation. In Amiens, he now offers boat tours to discover the city from the water, with a keen eye for living things.
A guide, not just a boat
The boat lets you move gently. Jules brings the rest: the stories, the attention paid to birds, plants and façades, to the ways people use the water, and to the links between Saint-Leu, the canals and the Hortillonnages.
Ecologik: learning to look at living things
Ecologik grew from a simple idea: to pass on the wish to observe, understand and protect what surrounds us. The boat tours carry this approach on, in a format that is touristic, local and accessible.
