Book the whole boat in Amiens

The boat for your group only, with Jules, in the heart of the Hortillonnages. An option you choose when you book: up to 10 seats, babies carried in arms not counted.

What booking the whole boat means

Booking the whole boat means your group does not share the departure with other passengers. Jules guides only you, as part of the tour you have chosen.

An option, never imposed

The whole boat is an option you choose: it is never applied automatically. If you take it, you are alone aboard with Jules, up to 10 seats, babies carried in arms not counted. The price of the whole boat is shown before you pay, with no surprises. Babies under 3 stay free and do not count towards capacity; dogs are welcome free of charge and must be declared.

You never pay more than the flat rate

On shared-seat tours, your total is capped: whatever the number of participants, it never exceeds the price of the whole boat. That is the only automatic rule, and it always works in your favour. The site offers you the whole boat when it is the better deal for you, even for two or three people — you remain free to keep shared seats.

For which occasions?

Family, couple, friends, a birthday, a small event, English-speaking visitors, an anxious dog or a group with several dogs, a calm outing without strangers: a private boat suits many situations.

Make a day of it

After the boat loop, you can make a day of it in Amiens: a walk through Saint-Leu, a terrace, a restaurant. The combined tour links the boat with a walk to the neighbourhood. Drinks, meals and purchases are paid directly to the venue.

Frequently asked questions

How do I book the whole boat?

You choose it when you book, whatever the number of participants: it is never applied automatically. You are then alone aboard with Jules, up to 10 seats, babies carried in arms not counted. The price is shown before you pay.

Do babies count towards the 10 seats?

No. Babies under 3 are free and do not count towards the 10 seats, as they stay in a parent’s arms.

Can we come with several dogs?

On a shared boat, one dog per booking, declared in advance. When you book the whole boat, you are alone aboard and Jules can welcome several dogs, as long as it stays reasonable for comfort and safety. They remain under the responsibility of the person accompanying them.

Can we book the whole boat for two or three people?

Yes. The whole boat can be booked whatever the size of the group, and it is often for small groups that it is the better deal: you are alone aboard for the flat rate. The site tells you when that is the case; you remain free to keep shared seats.
